There were a few problems that should and could have been avoided. One was a property problem. We checked into our first room and the heater was on and it couldn't be turned off. It was like an oven in there! The manager on duty checked it out and was able to move us into another room. No big deal. We hadn't unpacked yet and problem solved. Well they moved us into another room, but the front desk failed to make the changed in the computer. We checked into our new room, went to eat dinner in the attached restaurant (very good food and service by the way), then returned to our room. We changed into our sleeping clothes and was reading in bed when we heard some fumbling at our door. Luckily I just got to the door when it opened!! I was able to keep the shocked people from entering. I told them this was our room and the young guy started getting an attitude saying it was his room. I said I would call the front desk and he started swearing and I closed the door. If we hadn't been back in our room who knows if our stuff would have been gone through or something would have been stolen. We were away for Valentine's Day. DEAR GOD IF THEY WOULD HAVE CAME IN AT A DIFFERENT TIME!! All in all our stay was good. But I have never had someone come into one of my hotel rooms with a key given to them AFTER I checked in. With all this I would assume Wyndham would comp us for another room in the future!
