"As a regular hotel user whilst on business, this hotel is certainly up there with the best. A lovely welcome from the host on arrival and superb evening meal, I had the lamb. I paid around £80 for the night, which in my opinion is a steal. Diolch "

"We had a very enjoyable Christmas at Pleasant Vale. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was nice and warm and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare Christmas dinner for the five of us. View from the large picture window was lovely and we enjoyed watching the horses in the adjoining fields ."

"The property did have most of the things that we required, even though it was a bit basic, in my opinion it could have been a bit more cosy and comfortable. The property was not as clean as it possibly should have been (considering we received a email requesting that we leave it 'clean and tidy, as we found it', but the cobwebs had been there for a while. With that said, we still had a good stay and enjoyed our visit, be aware that it is a little remote."

"The 'Pendine Sands B B' is adjacent to a spectacular looking medivial church. (By the way: we attended a Sunday Mass and we were taken aback by the warmth of the congregation, with which we - total strangers - were welcomed). The entire area is very serene and calming. The hosts are the kindest people we have met for as long as I can remember. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Everything in this property is spotless and to the highest of standards. So much attention to detail is not be taken for granted. We would like to stay there again before long and once again express our gratitude to the hosts, Karen and Steve."
