Pretty good, but...
There's a lot to like about Pacific Grove Inn. It's a pair of sweet old Victorian homes turned into an inn. The walks to Lighthouse Ave (restaurants, shops, etc) and to Lover's Point are short and delightful. The room and porch were charming and clean. But it felt bizarre that there was nobody to check me in or out, there was no table for sitting at in my room, the bathroom door was hinged in an awkward way, and there was only one narrow window looking out so it felt cave-like. Also, it's at a pretty busy intersection--which, for Pacific Grove, isn't saying much. Then again, Pacific Grove itself is so delightful that I loved being there.
