"Quaint stay, friendly staff, family run business. There is construction outside but did not hear it at all at night. The rooms are around the corner from the main office, very close to train station. We stayed on the bottom floor and there was one bathroom to share with one other room stay. The bathroom was newly renovated with a very nice shower. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated, single beds, with a sink, and a window that opens to a cute overgrown garden. I was expecting a busier hostel style stay, but it was nice, relaxed, and felt authentic to Oxford. I did not have their breakfast at the main office but it looked really good and inexpensive. The only thing was walls are a little thin and doors need to be oiled. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Excellent service as I requested a happy birthday message to my husband and it turned out to be a few balloons, warm bday card in the room plus 2 free drinks at the bar. All staffs were friendly and helpful. Location is great, big car park £6 for 24hours parking. Bus to town is just outside. Breakfast was lovely, good range of choices, my daughter especially enjoyed the yogurt drinks and the mixed bowls. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room are small, but still able to enjoy for about 10 mins in the hot room during the 30 mins session. Must book in advance!! Whole environment is nicer than I expected with lovely staffs which gave us a pleasant stay."
