Well cared for sunny and charming 1920's apartment is sparkling clean, cozy, stylishly presented and extremely convenient to everything. We offer quality bedding and linens, a fully loaded kitchen and all the comforts perfect for a short or longer stay. The Neighborhood: The Apartment is located in the historic "Hamline Midway" neighborhood. The vibe is divers, artsy, eclectic and all urban! Tree lined streets and turn of the century homes filled with hipsters and families combined. Staying in in this tight knit neighborhood gives you the true culture of living in our city. Within a few blocks to less than a mile walk you can get to Allianz Field, Groundswell neighborhood coffee shop, a sandwich joint, acupuncture, martial arts studio and a mixture of culturally authentic cuisine. Plus, there are a whole variety of modern conveniences mixed in such as Target, Pharmacy/Drug, Whole Foods, LA Fitness and just about anything you want or need. Metro Transit Light Rail: The Lexington Train Station for the rail is 2 blocks away and connects you to everything: • Allianz Field United FC - 3 Minutes (or walk, it’s about a mile) • Xcel Energy Center for Conventions or MN Wild Hockey - 15 Minutes • St. Paul Lower Town to Mears Park, tons of dining and bar options - 20 Minutes • State Capital - 15 Minutes • TCF Stadium (Home of the Gophers) and U of M - 25 Minutes • US Bank Stadium (Home of the Vikings) - 30 Minutes • Downtown Minneapolis to the Twin's Stadium, Nightlife, bars, restaurants and more - 35 minutes • Mall of America - 50 minutes (transfer necessary) The Area: Named Hamline Midway largely because of its proximity to Hamline University and its central ‘Midway’ location, this neighborhood is extremely convenient to both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Aside from the great variety within walking distance you are also within a 5-10-minute Uber or Lyft to many destination spots. • Cathedral Hill Business District – Located in a beautiful and historic neighborhood this district has that cobble stone street feel and is loaded with dining and shopping. If you appreciate architecture go here! • Grand Avenue and Summit Hill – One of St. Paul’s main “small town” shopping experiences can be found here. Loaded with a wide variety of dining from your basic pubs to fine dining and everything. Take in this Avenue from Dale Street to Fairview Avenue and you will be rich in dining, ice cream parlor, deli’s, shopping and there is no shortage of St. Paul Charm here. • Lower Town - St. Paul’s newest hot spot here you can take choose from many places to eat, drink, catch a minor league baseball game at The Saints Stadium, chill in Mears Park and visit the Farmers Market!!! • Como Park- Just north a few miles (an easy bike ride from the apartment) is a plethora of great outdoor fun. Offering a great two mile walk around beautiful Como Lake or you can rent a peddle wagon. The park also has a great restaurant in the Pavilion, a public Golf Course, free public Zoo, Kids amusement park and an amazing Conservatory. • West Seventh – Rich with down and dirty dive bars, brewery’s and restaurants this hip area is exploding! While down here check out Keg and Case Market! An iconic St. Paul destination, Keg and Case Market is a food hall and market with a brew pub and dining all located inside the former Schmidt Brewery. A true experience you just cannot miss! All hot spots for "biz buzz" and the dining options are splendid!!! The Apartment: • Living Room: South and West facing this cozy living room is full of natural light. The hardwood floors and beautiful and you can take in the news or a movie on the Ikea couch and chair. The Couch also flips down into a bed if you feel like sprawling or need an extra bed. The TV is connected to our High Speed WIFI and is capable of streaming. We do have a visitors Netflix account already set up for your use. • Dining Room: Connected to the living space and has a circular table for 4, is stylishly decorated and a perfect place to visit or work. • Kitchen: Fully equipped with a regular coffee pot and coffee, standard size fridge and stove, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, toaster and other basic kitchen essentials we have what you need for a short or longer stay. • Bedroom: Tucked down the hallway is a spacious bedroom with a high-quality queen-size mattress and luxury quality sheets and bedding. We travel a lot and know the importance of having a good night’s rest! There is also a closet with wood hangers and a dresser. • Bathroom: Just your basics. Shower, tub, stool and sink. And don’t worry, we always have you covered with clean and plush bath towels. My partner and I travel VRBO and AIRBNB all the time. Therefore, we put a lot of thought into making our properties a great place for all our guests. We live close by and can be available if you need us. We are happy to recommend places for dining or give you any information you may need about our metro.
