The view of Lake Michigan was obstructed by a huge building, so that the lake was barely visible. The house is beautiful and very large. There were lots of common rooms to explore.

We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the carriage house. The owners were welcoming, friendly and open to feedback about the property. Racine is where I grew up and staying at this location was perfect for a visit to experience all that is new and great about Racine. Thanks, we will see you again.

    A Great Place to Stay

The hostess Pam was a treasure. She is really working hard to make your stay plesant. She made way too micu food for me at breakfast and when I requested something different she had no ;qualms providing it. I loved staying in a house form the 1880's. she had the history on the house to help yu understand why it was built the way it was.

This BnB is a nice place just south of downtown Racine. We got the cheapest of the available rooms but it was very spacious. There were two wonderful recliner lazyboy chairs, a TV with Bluray player that we didn't use, mini fridge/freezer that we did use, microwave, coffee maker, large windows. Children's movies were available to borrow. We sat on the porch for a while in the evening, watching the cars go by. The rooms are all on the third floor. The house manager lives on the second, and the first floor has several common area rooms for sitting, reading, and eating. Breakfast in the morning was nice, eggs, hashbrowns, cinnamon roll, fruit, some meats, juice, coffee, all at a family style table. It was so much better than typical "free" breakfasts at hotels. We would stay again if we visited the area.
