The view of Lake Michigan was obstructed by a huge building, so that the lake was barely visible. The house is beautiful and very large. There were lots of common rooms to explore.

Christmas House Bed & Breakfast is located in Racine. Racine Art Museum (RAM) and Wustum Art Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Thomas P. Hardy House and Keland House. Hot Shop Glass and Racine Zoological Gardens are also worth visiting. Our guests appreciate the bed & breakfast's central location.
This BnB is a nice place just south of downtown Racine. We got the cheapest of the available rooms but it was very spacious. There were two wonderful recliner lazyboy chairs, a TV with Bluray player that we didn't use, mini fridge/freezer that we did use, microwave, coffee maker, large windows. Children's movies were available to borrow. We sat on the porch for a while in the evening, watching the cars go by. The rooms are all on the third floor. The house manager lives on the second, and the first floor has several common area rooms for sitting, reading, and eating. Breakfast in the morning was nice, eggs, hashbrowns, cinnamon roll, fruit, some meats, juice, coffee, all at a family style table. It was so much better than typical "free" breakfasts at hotels. We would stay again if we visited the area.
