Our second vacation home, 'The Battlefields Inn' was completely renovated in March 2012 and is available for your enjoyment! Our other vacation rental in Harpers Ferry is #373437 if you'd like to see it as well. This home has been restored with the same level of care and is next door making it convenient for larger groups to rent both homes for their vacation, holiday, or outing. Central Heat and Air Conditioning, Washer/Dryer/Linens Provided, gas fireplace in living room, King Beds in each master bedroom, 2 sets of bunk beds, Convertible Bed: sleeper sofa in living area. family weekend getaway

we had 30 family members in the 2 houses (Battlefield & 1862) and tent camping in the backyards...family came from Florida, Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia, Baltimore, and DC area and we had a wonderful weekend together....thanks for being so accomodating

family reunion getaway

Perfect set up for 2 families with children - good room arrangements, kitchen well equipped, plenty of space outside to run around. Convenient for River Riders activities and driving to the river or into town. We had a great time!

Beautiful & Perfectly Located

We rented this home to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday. We were surprised to learn that the property was on the River Riders property and we were able to walk to our Saturday activities. The home is exactly as described. Very roomy and comfortable beds. I will say that if you are in the bedrooms on the top floor you may need a small fan. Felt like home. Friday night we took advantage of the outdoor grill. The girls enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub to keep them occupied. Saturday we spent the day rafting on the river at River Rides and headed to The Canal House for dinner which was amazing. Sunday we checked out and headed to historic Harper's Ferry. We toured the town and then had another amazing meal at the Potomac Grille. There is a grocery store and Walmart close by for all your needs. Would definitely come back to rent this beautiful spacious property.

Wonderful space with everything we needed, and within walking distance to River Riders!
