"Cottage exceeded my expectations, inside it was quite spacious especially the kitchen, which had everything you could possibly need. Bathroom is a decent size, plenty of hot water and towels. The garden is large and well presented and perfect if you’re taking your dog. I was aware of the small, steep stairs from reading reviews, but found that handrails were in the right positions. We only had guests for one night so walking through one bedroom to get to the other was not an issue. The beds were comfortable, plenty of storage. I didn’t realise that the cottage was right on the road, so care needed when you went out, mostly light traffic but there is buses and during our stay the farmers were harvesting! This did not affect our stay and I would say it was a clean, comfortable cottage which is nicely situated."
