"Staff was very friendly, kind, and accommodative. Special shoutout to Chante who works front desk evening shift. I erroneously booked wrong dates via Hotels.com and didn’t realize until the evening before my stay. I called and she was very helpful and corrected the dates allowing me to avoid a higher rate if I had canceled and rebooked. I was very appreciative. Other reviews mention only 2 elevators, but during our stay, there were 4 working elevators and we never experienced a wait for an elevator over 1 minute even with the hotel full of gymnasts and families for the competition over the weekend. Everything was clean and bright. Fitness center is large and bright with ample equipment. We did not get a chance to check out the pool, but other guests told us they found it to be nice. Info that might be helpful for others: Beds and pillows are on the soft side. Refrigerators and microwaves are not standard, but can be requested on first request, first serve basis. Immediate area around hotel and convention center is clean and we felt perfectly safe walking to and from convention center during the day. Hotel lobby and open areas have an elegant 1920s vibe. AC in our room worked, but it does not distribute air evenly in room. It became warm in room a few times during the night. There are was no fan in room so it’s important to figure out A/C before going to sleep. I’d recommend setting it lower than you think you’d like it to be. Overall, we would stay here again. "
