The property was nice with friendly staff. The well-groomed property certainly helped to establish the sense of being on a tropical vacation. Seating provided around the property allowed for relaxation without being at the pools. There were many pools to choose from providing wonderful options and the pools were freshly cleaned every morning.
Having a kitchen and washer and dryer in the room was a plus. The beautiful, convenient beach was wonderful.
Unfortunately, there were a few negative issues. The shower head in our bathroom was full of mold/mildew which we cleaned, but we assumed continued more detailed cleaning would occur with room service, but no such additional cleaning occurred.
There was also a daily foul smell in the halls outside of our room, presumably from being near the trash room.
I think that as a "condo/timeshare" style property it is understandable that they would not have an in-house restaurant that would provide for room service. However, if you wish to remain on site, your options are limited to either Duke's, which is on the pricier side or one of two "markets" provided in the lobbies. The market in the main tower offered delicious acai' bowls, but was often out of them.
Lastly, the spa on site was expensive which is usually expected for being onsite, but the robes provided were falling apart which made it feel subpar.
A resort with tons of potential but needs some attention!!
