Cool nights & warm days! Our favorite adventures during our stay were seeing the beaver in the early morning by the lakeside; catching lots of fish; kayaking; roasting marshmallows on the camp fire at night; swimming and of course just relaxing in the swing on the porch! The location is great; walking distance to town. With all the fun things to do right here at the cottage and the bay, we didn't have to leave! We'd love to return again! Past renters The Beaudoins, Raus and Kellys wrote:: The weather was fantastic! Sunny and warm for all but two of our days. Our favorite adventures during our stay were our daily walks into town and the walking trail around the bay. The outdoor shower - absolutely wonderful!! We even checked out the Hospital Aid Fair on Saturday. Several of us also drove to Lincoln NH for the Alpine Sip Line adventure - great fun! Oh, and not to forget the round of golf at Kingswood golf course down the street. We enjoyed eating at the Wolfetrap after reading all the positive reviews from other guests in the cottage guest book. We really had a great week - and particularly enjoyed the KUBB game we found on the porch. Great for fun in the afternoon after a swim. Albee Beach on Lake Wentworth was another great excursion - especially for the children!

5/5 Excellent

    Beautiful NH lake getaway

PERFECT location, beautiful view, big/nice yard, and lots of things to do. Owner communicates quickly and effectively. You will not be disappointed!

    5/5 Excellent

We had a great time at the lake house.

We had a great time at the lakehouse. Everything is just as listed - home is close to town, you can actually kayak/canoe right to middle of town in a few minutes. There is a restaurant that's only a couple of minutes to walk to from the house. The property was great we had 2 dogs with us so the yard was perfect for them to run around and then of course they went in the lake. The home is well maintained and very clean. The outdoor shower was awesome. Property is right on lake but more the cove section so not as windy which was good. Dee was great to deal with - responded quickly with all questions and provided recommendations for restaurants in town.

      4/5 Good

We stayed for a weekend, attending a wedding at Colby Hill Inn. Convenient location to the inn.

Process was fine. Kitchen was definitely a one person kitchen. Could not be at the sink and have someone open the refrigerator. Plenty of water crafts to enjoy. Located next to a marina. Fun to sit on the deck and watch the boats come and go during the day Saturday.

        4/5 Good

          Cozy and convenient

Great proximity to town, lovely lawn and water access. Perfect for our stay- just a caution Re: steep stairs up to bedrooms- not for everyone

          5/5 Excellent

            Great place to rent!

We had a wonderful stay, everything was as advertised! Great location with a big yard, water view and close to town!
