"I stayed at the Bel Jou Hotel for 4 nights from a Wednesday-Sunday in April 2024. It exceeded my expectations! All the staff were friendly, pleasant and easy to chat to and offer help. My room was modern and better than expected. Immaculately cleaned every day. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The meal options were very good every day and incorporated different cuisines and cultures. Drink choices were extensive and were truly all inclusive. A helpful free shuttle bus was available between the hotel and the local market (Castries) and local beach (Vigie beach). Also a weekly shuttle runs from the hotel to the Friday night street party at only $20 each return. The pools were well sized and a lot of sun beds available. Gym was well equipped and Spa also available. A tour desk is available throughout the week for last minute excursions. They fog the whole property each week to keep mosquitos away which was a huge relief. Truly a great experience!"

"It felt like being at home. All amenities were available. The host was extremely helpful and hospitable. Questions about the island and the best way to get things done around the island were well answered. I would highly recommend. Also, the view from the Entrepot hilltop of the capital city below was beautiful. It was lovely watching the cruise ships arrive in the mornings and depart in the evenings."

"Fantastic place to stay. Accurate description given. It was so nice to stay somewhere the was immaculate and clean. I felt very comfortable ( I hate dirt and germs)! The villa feels very fresh and new and the decor inside and out was well thought out. Lots of places to enjoy. Our villa hard a real outdoor sitting area and table which was perfect for playing cards. The infinity pool was amazing and refreshing. No complaints at all and would highly recommend this place to stay."

"The historic Mango Plantation is a beautiful, picturesque house on a hillside. It has a great view overlooking the bustling City of Castries and its Port. We were there over New Years and watched the fireworks from the veranda and could hear the city enjoying themselves. The house was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The dogs were very gracious hosts welcoming us returning from our explorations. The lot was secluded and private though would recommend a 4x4 or AWD to drive the short distance from the road to the house. The owner, Cathy, was extremely helpful with recommendations and we enjoyed dinner at her restaurant Jaques. Any drive from Castries North could take longer than anticipated due to traffic depending on the time of day. The local cuisine on the Island was excellent. Cathy’s recommendations of The Naked Fisherman and Anse Chastant (Soufriere) stood out (reservations are recommended). St. Lucia is a wonderful island."
