Wonderful
Modern, clean, and close to beach
Just wrapped up a wonderful week with my wife and two daughters. We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was walking distance to the beach, surf shops, and restaurants. It was just as described. Very clean and modern, and well furnished. We walked to the beach daily. Only took the car out once our whole trip to head over to the grocery store a mile and half away. Property manager was responsive to questions ahead of trip and during our stay. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in La Jolla. We'll definitely be back.
Loved this place
This condo was perfect for my husband and me; Nicely updated and comfortable. There would have been room for a couple of kids too, but this was an anniversary trip so we left them at home. :-) Two small things for future renters: it's essential to have off-street parking, but the carport is a tight squeeze--a compact car will save you time and trouble. We also wished there was a Netflix or Hulu setting on the TV--without it the channel choices were thin. But the location was perfect, just a block from the LaJolla Shores Beach and park, and we liked the little patio. Several good restaurants literally across the street. The best sea kayak adventure place is just up the block: Sea Cave Kayak (say hi to Michael and Cyril) and we were10 minutes from Torrey Pines--an amazing place for hiking or hitting the beach. Twenty minutes north is Del Mar Beach--also very nice. Twenty minutes south, don't miss Balboa Park --and allow at least a day to explore a few museums and take in the beautiful gardens and San Diego Zoo. Downtown (?) LaJolla is a 5-minute drive if you like high-end shopping and restaurants, including George's at the Cove, which offers beautiful ocean sunset views. For a hidden gem, walk up Torrey Pines Road a quarter-mile toward LaJolla and check out the Coast Walk--a quiet place to watch the seals, pelicans, cormorants and swimmers in the cove below. Beautiful place, great trip!

Great location. Just two blocks from the beach. This was our second stay at this property and would definitely stay here again.
Location!
This unit was walking distance to all the top restaurants and the beach. Take note, that August is warm in La Jolla and the bedrooms do not have AC. It was still nice once the breeze came through late at night.
