      Cozy Trempealeau getaway

From the moment we booked the cottage, Beth & Mark made us feel so welcome. The cottage was very cozy, extremely clean, & all that we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary getaway & definitely appreciated all of the recommendations for dining & outdoor activities. The only thing I would have changed would be the time of year we booked, as it was too cold to be able to enjoy the kayaks & bikes...Next time! We highly recommend this cottage. You won’t be disappointed.

Very comfy. Communication with owner was excellent. We stayed to participate in shooting event in Holmen so our days were full. It was great to come back, totally relax and watch the sunset.

          amazing solitude

My husband and I headed to Trempealou to escape the wet fields of SD and arrived to see the wet fields of WI. Not to worry though, the cottage welcomed us. The tranquil area, the friendly businesses and the splendid scenery provided us the much needed respite. The highlight of our various road trips was returning to a super clean, super warm cottage with super natural light. Beth's creativity worked its way through the cottage from the "baited" heart to the miniature brass swans to the itty bitty bird house to the stained glass dragon flies. I think she had fun accenting the various rooms. This cottage is absolutely a great place to stay! Mary and Allen

              Wonderful Wisconsin Weekend

We spent the weekend during Winona State's parent weekend. The cottage had EVERYTHING we could need! It was very clean, neat and decorated adorably! There were so many thoughtful details throughout the cottage. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a couple easy meals. We had a bonfire one night with firewood provided. Beth had great recommendations for what to do and activities to try! My husband finished his book on Friday night and found a book in their stash that he started while we were there. He loved it SO much that he ordered it on his Kindle when we got home. Our daughter is a freshman, so hoping we can stay again over the next four years. Thanks to our wonderful hosts! One thing to keep in mind is that you may not have cellular service at the home or nearby. We used a GPS in the car to get us there, which was good since the maps on our phones didn't work. We had to drive to town, for cell service, to coordinate meeting our daughter on Saturday. It is crazy how dependent we have become to our cell phones ;)
