Located in Koloa's Poipu neighborhood, Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai by Outrigger is next to a golf course and on the beach. Nawiliwili Harbor and Kiahuna Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Poipu Beach and Kalapaki Beach. CJM Country Stables and Kauai Coffee Company are also worth visiting.
Our unit #78 was on a Main Street and very noisy. Not only were trucks, cars, golf carts and walking traffic constantly going by, the mowers and blowers seemed to be nonstop. Because there was no AC, we couldn’t close up windows to defend against the noise. Kitchen was great, bathrooms nice. Master bedroom was comfortable, but twin beds in guest room squeaked and were creaky. Overall it was ok.
We had an excellent experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, in an excellent location, and very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.
We loved our stay at Kiahuna. Easy to walk to beach Great place
It was quiet, despite all the chickens and roosters. (Roosters crowed around the clock, but it didn't bother us.) Loved the spacious feeling, and beach had great swimming, and wasn't too crowded when we were there. Our condominium was attractive and comfortable. The grounds were so green with beautiful trees and flowers. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool with its slide and waterfalls and the weight rooms. Convenient location, close to restaurants and to a great hike along the cliffs from the Hyatt to the cave. No air conditioning but the ventilation through the plantation blinds was sufficient in November when we were visiting.
