"BEEARE! This property is not what is advertised! The photos are fake, it is a 1 bedroom apartment, & it is located in a dangerous trash-strewn downtown area of Johannesburg. The owner gave us entry info at the very last minute & only after I contacted them, the directions were very confusing, & it became apparent the whole booking was a scam. I had to find other accommodations upon arrival. I reported this to Expedia & requested a full refund & told them they should remove this listing. The owner has refused to refund me even after admitting the advertisement for this apartment was incorrect. And while Expedia apologized to ke for the issue, I am receiving no refund! Shame on them all."

"The staff at this hotel are wonderfully friendly, always happy to help. During my stay there, I did not even realize that there electricity blackout in Johannesburg everyday. The restaurant bar downstairs has a good range of food at a reasonable price with very friendly crews. It gets busy and noisy there during the weekend with a DJ playing good music. That gives a good and convenient option to chill without going to places that may not be safe. However, if loud music is not your thing, just ask during check-in for quiet rooms. The receptionist did get me one of those quiet rooms. I will totally go back there any time I visit Johannesburg and has business to do in Braamfontein."

The past 2 days of our stay the water in our room was cold and we reported that to the manager during checkout, she apologies and requested us to report any problems as soon as we encounter the problem.
