"We had the best time here! Drove here from Chicago for a weekend and had so much fun touring the property & riding horses. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The property manager Denise & her father Ed were so awesome and communicative, we had a great time. Nearby there are some fun parks to go to & we drove to Iowa and went hiking. There’s also small bars and restaurants in the area but we weren’t a huge fan of those options, so we had brought food & there are a few kitchen appliances that you can use which is so helpful. It was such a fun & relaxing time & if I ever get the chance to come back, I will!"

"The cabin is exactly as in the pictures. It's wonderful: very cozy, well-equipped, extremely clean, it's got all modern comforts, and it is in a beautiful setting. The heating was on when I arrived, so that was a nice surprise. It was very quiet and close to some easy hiking trails. There is also a lovely area outside with a fire pit, and it is ideal for BBQ weather permitting. Two pieces of advice: take groceries/drinking water with you as it is quite remote (which is what is great about it!), and don't drink too much after 7:00 pm, as you need to go out to go to the bathroom (It is mentioned on the listing, though.) Other than that, Jane is a great host and responds immediately to your texts. I definitely recommend and hope to go back soon. Nik"

"We had a group of 10 adults and 1 teenager and it was the perfect house for our gathering. The house is 3 floors with plenty of beds and rooms for all of us. There was an area on the third floor for the young adults to play games. The house was spotless and had everything we could need. I would highly recommend this house for large family gatherings."
