Overall, the hotel was great for what we needed it to be. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious for our family of four. However, while the staff was very nice and polite, they did not seem to have enough staff to keep up with the number of guests there. Our room was not clean when we arrived, which was over an hour after check in time. We took a smaller room though that was ready, and we were happy with that for our one night stay. The staff also seemed unable to keep the common area clean enough for the amount of use they were getting. The area between the pool and lobby was always wet and slippery, And the entrance area varied from not very clean to sort of gross. However, none of that really affected our stay. We had considered staying at the Westin next door for the same price but chose the element for the free breakfast. It was not worth it as the breakfast was just OK. If I had to do it again, I would have booked the Westin and just walked to eat at a coffee shop or Panera which is in the shopping complex.
