Overall is ok. Room is good. Check in/out is fine. Do want to point out the following problems. 1) Escalator/elevator To access hotel rooms, guests need to use an escalator to second floor then use an elevator to hotel rooms floors. During our stay of 4 nights, except first day, all other days, escalator to go up is out of service, not fixed for 3 days. Guests need to use stairs to second floor, bad experience. There is another elevator somewhere far, I didn’t bother to look for it because it means more walking anyway. For elevators to go to rooms, only 2 of 4 are available to go up, long waiting time to go up. Surprised that such a high level hotel has these problems, especially this happens during Thanksgiving time which has a lot of guests. 2) parking I used self parking. The parking garage is right across the street of hotel. Use hotel room card to get in/out. Very convenient. However, the first 4 floors are reserved for valet parking spot, so need to drive a lot to get parked. Do have normal spots but a lot compact spots. Garage space is small so need to drive very carefully, especially with car coming in the other direction. Since I stayed at another hotel nearby at Waikiki previous year, I am pretty sure some other hotels does better at self parking experience.
I liked how they had a number that we were able to text, a tv with chromecast, pineapple iced tea near the front desk, and prompt room cleaning. I didn't really like how the parking structure was built though.
View was gorgeous and staffs were friendly as well. Nicely well done property. Highly recommended.
