        Our October 2019 visit.

We are currently building a home in Blairsville and traveled up to check on the current construction. This property was just secluded enough to be peaceful and relaxing but conveniently located to town and activities. We also enjoyed a full day checking out Helen Georgia (just a 45 minute drive away). Thank you Olivia for the hospitality!

Wonderful getaway with fun right outside

Cabin is secluded and spacious. There is another cabin right by it, but once you're inside you would never know it. It was easy to get in and everything was set up so nicely. Our kids loved watching TV and playing in the 'game' room. We ate every meal at the table on the screened in porch. It was so nice listening to the creek! Roasting hotdogs and marshmallows by the water was so much fun and we loved walking and exploring through the creek a bit. There are lots of things to do nearby. We went to Fall Branch Falls, Anne Ruby Falls, Helen, and Brasstown Bald. We also took a farm tour of Lasso The Moon Alpaca Farm right in Blairsville which was so fun! You have to make an appt ahead of time since its not open to the public. The house was well stocked and it was fantastic to not have to bring all the little things. It also has fantastic decor and a great 'cabin' atmosphere. The drive in and out of the parking area is a bit steep, but manageable. Olivia was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any messages.

            Fabulous Property

Coosa Creek Retreat is one of the most desirable cabins available. We hiked a lot during our stay and didn't feel we had enough time at the cabin. It was so pleasant. No problems and no complaints. Can't wait to visit again.

            5/5 Excellent

Really cute and peaceful place - The creek is all you need

When you are driving down Henry Young Lane, make sure you keep to the left at the Fork. Then take that gravel road all the way to its end to the cabin. Some might need SUV, Truck or 4WD depending on your vehicle's capabilities. It is a gravel road until you almost reach the cabin. Then a short paved section. Adorable place. Very quiet and peaceful. We searched for days before deciding on this cabin. Well worth it. Secluded, private, no one near you. The creek definitely makes it. You don't even need any other "noise", music, TV, distraction, nothing, even though this place has it all at your disposal (we didn't need anything other than the sound of the creek for entertainment.) The creek is all one needs. :) No annoying bugs/mosquitoes either? We were pleasantly surprised by this. Highly recommend the Coosa Creek Retreat. Definitely a great find. And only a few minutes from "Town" in Blairsville. Oh, and if you are seeking ANY "adult beverages" to buy in town to bring back to the cabin, you won't find any - it's a partially dry city - aside from buying beer/wine, or at a restaurant. No package stores in Town. You have to go to the "Moonshine Museum" called Grandaddy Mimm's - about 5 miles from the square in Blairsville. Out Hwy 161 from The Square. Then you can get ALL the "beverage" you can handle at the super-cute Moonshine Museum (google it). Hilarious place. And cute little shopping area surrounding this museum. We definitely recommend this cute cabin. We will likely be back! -Dave & Christina east Cobb / Marietta GA
