This property had long sharp nails sticking out of the top step which my daughter slashed her leg on, the toilet seat was broken and falling off and the shower leaked making the floor tiles like an ice rink and I slipped and hit my head. When you placed your hand on the bannister it was thick with grease. The 'large dressing room' has a sloping roof so unless you are under 5ft tall you can't stand up in it, this is also true of one of the bedrooms, you would have to be 5ft or less to use it. When we complained several times about the nails, the toilet seat, the leaking shower, the dirt, the misrepresentation of the property's details to the agency who represents the property (who they themselves described as a 'bad owner') his response was 'do not send me any more emails about this'. We paid good money to stay here, we treated the property with respect, but the owner showed us no respect. Even when my daughter slashed her leg on the nails, he said nothing. It is outrageous that he can take you money but when you have valid complaints he refusing to apologise or communicate. Also for the record, should you still want to stay here, bear in mind that you can see and hear the busy motorway from the garden and also the back bedroom. Thanks to this owner and his refusal to even acknowledge that his property fell short on several fronts we had a miserable time as we felt really cheated.
