I booked through Hotels.com, but when we arrived at 4:30 (well after the 3:00 check in time) our room was not ready because it hadn't been cleaned. We were asked to wait until staff returned to clean, which was not an option. They offered to change our room, but insisted I needed to go through the website to make the change, even though I selected the pay on site option. He insisted I call the website to have them change our room style, before he would give us a key, even though it was their error/mismanagement that our room was not available. It took a full 40 minutes to check in even though my reservation was confirmed with Hotels.com. There was a line of 7 people waiting behind me while 1 person worked the check in desk while speaking to the manager on the phone because no one else was available on site. The room itself was o.k. We ended up with a pull out bed, which we dread, rather than 2 queens as reserved. The bathroom door was a barn style slider, which is attractive, until someone needs to use it in the middle of the night and wakes up everyone else in the room rolling it open and closed. Also, the bathroom fan is automatic with the light and quite noisy.
