    A five star view!

We will never forget our visit here in this historic house so lovingly cared for by its owner. Waking in the morning to see the geese heading south with a respite on the water and watching the dramatic tidal changes we will never forget. Perfectly situated for touring many lovely places from Rockport to Essex clams, to Salem as well as ‘Gloucester. I spent many hours sitting in that gorgeous screened deck and when I needed to call the owner for something I couldn’t find she was very responsive. Great TVs and WiFi! I appreciate the opportunity to have this experience! And bring pets🐾

    Lovely gateway on the water

The house, a lovely beach cottage, is right on the water, where you can enjoying seeing the tide come up all the way under the terrace. The house is quaint, with lots of character and it is tastefully decorated with lots of blue & white. The screened terrace has plenty of room to sit (6 comfy rocking chairs, tall bar tables and chairs) and this is where we spent most of our time. Both the kitchen and bathroom are small, but functional. This should be taken into account if you are are planning to prepare large meals or if you have a large group of people. Some of the bedrooms may feel a bit rustic and small, but that was not a problem for us. The location is perfect fo day trips, fun on the water, and walks.

    Fisherman's Delight

The location was perfect for my wife and kids because we are all seafood lovers. The house is very unique because of its early historical design. It gives you the feeling of living in Gloucester back when things were more simple. Ginny, the owner is a very nice person, and if I had any questions she responded quickly with answers which included where I could launch my fishing boat, where to clam, (which was right out in front of her property) I was able to moor my boat right in front of the property which was very convenient. We ate seafood every night, clams, lobster, and Striped bass. Overall our stay was very pleasant. We are looking forward to staying there again in the future.
