5/5 Excellent

The water parks and splash pads were fabulous! We didn’t have to miss a beat when it was under a flash flood warning in the area! The kids loved the different pools, wave pool, water slides, etc.! There is a shuttle that runs from one part of the lodge with outdoor slides and pools to the main area with indoor pools and water parks! It is now the high bar that our children compare hotels to and they have been to Disney park hotel and pools as well as a Disney Cruise! The staff also went above and beyond when my mother in law traveling with us was on oxygen and needing accommodations related to this at check-in.

Check in would of been a lot less painful if you didn't have to get your parking pass from someone trying to talk you into wasting your time sitting threw a timeshare presentation. They try to get you again at the River Lodge as you go towards the indoor park. They have water bottles in the rooms that are meant for your kids to grab up and open before you realize it and then you have to $3 a piece for them, and yes that happened to us. The bathroom door barely shut and didn't lock. The bathroom door and shower had hairs all over them. The bathroom itself was very small and the shower didn't drain because the drain stopper wouldn't stay open. We had to fight with it every time so the tub didn't fill up. The pool at the stone lodge was nice and we had a good time there. The shuttle to take you down to the River lodge was always available within 5-10 minutes and was clean with friendly drivers. The wave pool there was dirty! We saw several bandaids floating in the water, tons of hair and lord knows what else. When I told one of the staff about the bandaids they said there was nothing they could do about it. The lazy river was about as nasty. Everything was overpriced which is to be expected but they are so hell bent that you're going to eat there they won't allow pizza delivery drivers bring the food to your room you have to meet them in the parking lot.
