About this property

Cypress Ridge } Peaceful Country Setting / Pool Table / Five Minutes From the National Park

Romantic vacation home in Townsend with spa tub
Cabin Name: Cypress Ridge Cypress Ridge is a beautifully decorated three level home that has everything to make your vacation in the Smoky Mountains memorable. There are four bedrooms with three bathrooms and the cabin sleeps 10 guest total. You can cook a complete meal or a have your snacks and beverages ready at any time in the well equipped kitchen. You can relax on the front or back porch, enjoying the wonderful mountain views, peace and quiet. This home is secluded and the only person you will see is the neighbors friendly horses who will greet you as soon as you pull up. Cypress Ridge is ideal for one big family or a couple of small separate families. It is the perfect home away from home, providing all the amenities you would expect from your own home and more. Cypress Ridge is only minutes from tubing down the river, IGA grocery store, and Trailhead Steakhouse (we HIGHLY recommend).. and most importantly this cabin is only about 15 minutes from Cades Cove. Don't miss this unique home for your stay here in the Great Smoky Mountains. IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day Check-In: *4pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin Check-Out: *10am - There is NO check out “to do list” for your departure, you are on vacation & you should enjoy it to the last minute without having to do any “chores”. Fireplaces: *On During: October 1st - February 28th *Off During: March 1st - September 30th Common Concerns: *Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions. *Well Water: Most of our cabins are on well water. Well water here in the Smoky Mountains sometimes has a different feel to it and often times a slight sulfur smell and often times has a brown color. Well water is safe to drink and to use for bathing and to cook with. We do have water systems on any cabins that have these issues, but keep in mind, it may smell and feel different than what you are used to. Also, some of our wells take time to recoup themselves after a lot of water has been used. This is a common problem in this area and there are times you may have to use water sparingly or wait for the water pressure to rebuild. *TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. *Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors. Cancellation Policy: *$50 fee + VRBO service fee *Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50 & VRBO service fee) *Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4nights + tax + cleaning fee + damage fee + Bear Tootin fee($25) - $50 cancellation fee & VRBO service fee. We loved this house! The 3 levels were perfect for our family. It is such a peaceful setting!

      Cedar Creek

This property fit our needs The only thing that seemed to be lacking was any type of covering on the windows in the downstairs area for privacy.

          Beautiful home

I normally only do reviews if the place sucks or it rubbed me the wrong way just to warn other people but LET ME TELL YOU OMG THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! The other reviews were so right about pictures not doing it justice because this house was huge and wonderful for my family and I. Let's start with HOT TUB, FIRE PIT, GRILL, POOL TABLE, I was very skeptical because it was located behind a horse barn but the house it self is very impressive. Clean, cozy and just charming. It's a good 30 minutes away from Gatlinburg, 25 from Pigeon Forge so be prepared to drive. The diner was ok that they recommended but everything else in the area blahhhh nope, just eat in peagon forge or Gatlinburg even though it's a tourist trap but back to the house, the kitchen was fully stocked along with wonderful paper towels, trash bags, soap for dishes and for the dishwasher so everything you need really. Totally worth the price but the other fees like per person, and cleaning fee I think are a bit high other than that totally worth what we payed daily. I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom floors could have been cleaner, the suffocating smell from the chimney downstairs play room is still in our clothes so we didnt get to spend that much time down there without the door being open luckily we had great weather but once we closed it we all bolted. My family is very hard to please but even my bougie mom loved it! The horses next door were super friendly and no we didn't feed them EVEN THOUGH I REALLY WANTED TO! Overall great experience and will rent again if we do come back. Thank you for sharing this place with us.

          5/5 Excellent
