About this property

Quiet Home on the Yellowstone River, a Walk Away to Yellowstone Park

Riverfront cabin with kitchen and balcony
PARK PLACE is a tranquil spot for those looking for a home away from home while in Yellowstone Park. We offer a cozy space excellently located on the Yellowstone River. Here you can rest after your daily adventures in our National Park and forests. Our home has the feel of a cabin in the mountains but with the comforts of the city. We are located within walking distance from downtown Gardiner. The sleeping area is located upstairs with a balcony that opens to lovely views of the mountains. You will love the sound of the river and relaxing out there after a day of hiking or exploring the Yellowstone wonders. The main living area is downstairs (which does include the only bathroom in the rental). There is a small couch and space for eating. Those who love fly fishing are coming to the right place. There is easy access to the Yellowstone River just down the road from our house. Park's Fly Shop is also down the street where they can give you ample information on what flies to be using and what other areas to check out. Depending on the time of year, you might encounter visitors outside your front door such as elk, deer or bison. Bald Eagles and ospreys are often present as well. We are sure you will love staying with us as much as we enjoy living here. PLEASE NOTE: AS OF OCT 2019, DURING THE MONTHS OF JUNE-SEPTEMBER, WE NEED TO COLLECT AN ADDITIONAL LOCAL TAX OF 3% OF YOUR NIGHTLY STAY. WE WILL BE IN TOUCH REGARDING THIS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL. THANK YOU!

5/5 Excellent

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. It’s 2 minutes from the north entrance to the park, but off a side road so you don’t have a bunch of traffic going by your place. Also close to everything else you could need in Gardiner. The inside couldn’t have been cozier. It’s perfect. We will definitely try to stay here in the future.

      Fantastic trip

We loved everything about our trip. The cabin was wonderfully stocked with many essentials. We had an elk family visit right outside of our cabin. The cabin is so close to the restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was the Wonderland Cafe. Will visit again one day.

        Nearly perfect in every way

Loved the location and it was very quaint and clean. There were a couple things we could nit-pic about but were mainly inconveniences which we over came by day two. But a great little place and we hope to return!!

          Nothing Short of Amazing!

Everything about our stay was amazing. The house is located 5 minutes away from the North entrance and is close to all the restaurants, souvenir shops and the one late night bar that I knew of! The house has two floors - the first floor has a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and outdoor grill. I definitely suggest stocking the fridge up to cook since most of the restaurants are just average. The bathroom is also fully stocked and there's a space heater in case you like it a little warmer (which I do!). Second floor comprised of two full sized beds and a little nook with a twin size bed and sitting area. There is an outside deck that you can hang on and listen to the Yellowstone River in the background. Parking was very accommodating. There is public parking around the house and luckily, we were provided a stick holder to hold our parking spot right out front. Only thing I can call out about the trip is the temperature of the house. We stayed in September, and the weather changed from warm to snowing to raining to warm again, so it was hard to keep the house at the right temperature. Also doesn't help when one person likes it warm and one likes it cool. Just be careful of the heat settings as it can get a little hot in there! Overall, I would grade this stay a 10 out of 10. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and the time spent in the house. Hope to make it back to Yellowstone again soon and will definitely look to staying here again! Ps, If you're lucky, you'll be able to spot elk, black tail deer and mule deer around the property!
