No Elevator but comfortable
We were surprised to find out that 3 of our 4 rooms were on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Other than that the stay was good.

Located in Frederick, Best Western Historic Frederick is in an area with great shopping. Westview Promenade and Francis Scott Key Mall are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Washington Monument State Park and Gathland State Park. Frederick Fairgrounds and Adventure Park USA are also worth visiting.
Easy parking, quick check-in. This place is relatively new so it seems that everything is in working order. Nice staff. The price was great! I used an accessible room, plenty of space. King-sized bed, comfortable with two different pillow sizes from which to choose. Quiet and good complete-room-darkening curtains. The temperature/fan is a bit difficult to control. I want it cool but I want the fan continually running. Once I needed heat the fan would only operate on automatic. Breakfast was average to good (very good by American standards); a few hot items including eggs, bacon, sausage (not really homemade), waffles, and lots of sweet choices such as breads, sweet rolls, etc. You really don't have to go elsewhere for breakfast because surely you'll find something here. If you need a home-base while visiting Frederick this is a good option (you'll need to drive to town by it's just 5 minutes away).
