Week old left overs anyone?
When we arrived it was a little confusing trying to find our unit, there are two big building and while we were walking around some guys offered to sell us drugs. That was in the first five minutes. Then when we finally found our unit, we walked in and found the refrigerator filled with leftover food from the previous guests. We were pretty grossed out and couldn’t tell if the apartment had been properly cleaned and just forgotten fridge. It appeared that the beds had been loosely made, so we stripped him down and washed all the sheets just to be sure. Next up was trying to get online to send an email, the Wi-Fi was not working in the apartment even though I specifically called and spoke to the property manager two days before the trip and before I committed to booking because I said it’s a work trip and I really need to have Internet. The Wi-Fi said problem with the account, the account was not in good standing so had been frozen, so no Internet for our stay. I sent a message through hotels.com that the apartment was dirty, got a response a day later saying it was and the cleaning crew had confirmed they cleaned it. Well the food in the refrigerator was there for our entire stay, we just considered the Kitchen a quarantined area for our stay. I emailed a picture of the disgusting food in the refrigerator to the property manager, and never received a response. Location great, the bbq restaurant across the street was amazing, but if you are used to basic cleanliness avoid
