"It is hard to express how I feel about staying in Angela’s cabin. Angela had become a dear friend of mine after this experience….. and she was not even in the state. Angela is one of the most caring and thoughtful people I have ever encountered! She tended to every need I had and made SURE that I had a beautiful experience that I would never forget. The Dancing Dig cabin is a place that is nestled into the bottom of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the beauty is something that is hard to put into words. I was sitting on the swing on the porch and watched a storm come in. The rain hit the tin roof and was incredibly soothing to hear. The cabin had a very modern shower. Angela is an extremely upbeat person who continually makes sure that you have BEYOND what you need. She has become my friend, just through her courtesy and kindness. I would give the cabin and Angela 100 STARS and I plan on coming back many times. If you decide to visit the Dancing Dog cabin, you will leave, never to forget your wonderful experience! I know that I came away from my five days feeling very blessed, and I wasn’t even able to buy a house, which was the reason for my trip."

"There is a nice creek/waterfall right next to the property that you can hear when out on the deck. Hot tub was nice. Very private and a great view. Steps getting up to cabin are a little tough and steep so be careful, some are crossties in the front with no railing. We came across a few things that needed repaired and mentioned to the rental company, I suspect it hadnt been rented for a while."

"We celebrated our son turning 20 by visiting this cabin and had a great experience! Cabin was clean, spacious, and allowed us to bring our well behaved dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table- there was enough space to spread out and we really, really enjoyed the view. Great communication by the hosts. Would rent again!"

"Me and my family had the best stay! It was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the creek from the front porch, hiking up the creek, shooting our pistols, and just letting the kids explore. Definitely would recommend if you’re trying to get away for a few days."

"Cabin was very clean and had special touches like condiments in the fridge. We had all the kitchen stuff we needed. There was extra reading items available. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of clean towels, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the visits we had from the chickens."
