Well, once inside the property is like landing in 1980. Everything is very old and dated. The room I was initially assigned to was infested with tiny ants to a point that could not be ignored. Also, I should have known things were not good when I arrived at the front desk, the two attendants were involved in a conversation which I felt like I interrupted them. The young lady who proceeded to check me in, could not determine that although my reservation was made under Larry Aguilar, and my credit card has me as Larry Aguilar, she could not determine that I was the same person as the picture on my license which is under Lazaro Aguilar. Thing is that my credit card also has a picture of me which looks strikingly like the picture on my license. Because she could not make a simple determination, it necessitated getting a manager involved, making me feel like I was perpetrating some fraud. She was not pleasant and did not show any degree of understanding with what I was saying to her. I interpreted her actions to mean she simply did not care as that was not her responsibility. Bad way to handle what should have been a very simple process. So, with that as the essence of the beginning of my stay, actually opening the door of the room and stepping into the '80s was a frightful experience. Of course, knowing what I know now, I would rather pay more and stay at a more pleasant and customer-friendly place.
