Unpleasant stay with uncaring staff
This was a very unpleasant staff. They say this hotel is under renovation but it is under construction. The room smelled of mold and there is mold on the tile in the shower. The towels are so rough you feel like you are drying yourself with sandpaper. You have to park across the street which can be very busy at times and you have to lug your suitcases by yourself. They should have a drop off area for your luggage and not be expected to haul it across the street. The entrance is a wooden ramp along the side of the hotel down a narrow hallway to a make shift lobby. There isn't any access to the beach from the hotel. They have all of the beach access blocked off so you have to walk out to the front of the hotel and down a side street through public access. Both pools and restaurants are closed. The balcony didn't have any chairs and when we requested some we were told there weren't any available even though some of the other rooms did have chairs on the balcony. There isn't even any coffee available in the hotel and no vending machines with water or soda. They do have an ice machine on the first floor. When we expressed our concerns to the staff they just stared at us and didn't even acknowledge or express any concerns. I'm not sure how they have gotten an occupancy license while this hotel is under construction. The construction crew were more helpful than the hotel staff. I would recommend staying away from this hotel until they can figure out customer service.
