"Worst experience ever. Parking lot was completely covered with snow, not plowed. There was a pretty significant leak coming from the roof; The minute you stepped in from the outside, you had to duck the drips from up above. I asked about early check-in, and the girl told me I would have to pay additional fees. What is that?
Then, they read off all these rules about what is not allowed, but nothing was enforced. The hallways and Corridors always, ALWAYS smelled like marijuana. Guests were extremely loud and inconsiderate... having loud parties and company.
From a staff standpoint, there was not a professional/ management presence until my last day there. The young girls that were there were semi pleasant, but again, it Lacked the management and passion for hospitality that makes a hotel stay worth it. I’ve been in customer service for 30 years, so I understand the importance of making the customer feel valued. I could care less about amenities etc... excellent customer service will fill any lack in amenities.
Going back to the ice and snow covered parking lot, both I and my guest almost fell multiple times, as the front entrance was completely unsalted. I brought this to the girls attention, and she said ‘I can’t do anything about that.’
Just an awful experience.... I honestly feel like I should be reimbursed or given a complementary stay to make up for how awful this experience was. I could not fully enjoy my visit due to these issues."
