    Family-friendly cottage in Ellezelles
    Welcome to this original space of 165 m² with tropical colors. We are located in the middle of the natural park of the hills, in Wallonia Picardy, 70 km from Brussels, 30 km from Lille and 50 km from the Belgian coast. The maximum capacity of the cottage is 7 people (adults or children) and 2 babies. Two lounges with two sofa beds, two double bedrooms, two kitchens, two terraces, a shower room, three toilets, a bathroom and a game room with a billiard table and a garden are at your disposal. You have access to the entire building. Bikes are available for free. An access code will be communicated to you upon your arrival. We welcome you to the cottage. For your information, we live in the house just behind. We are easily reachable when needed. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible and avoid misunderstandings here are some rules and recommendations to follow, in addition to those stated in the rental agreement. Several walks in the woods start right in front of the house. The marked trails for bicycle tours are installed with nodes just starting in front of the house. Your arrival time must be specified no later than 2 days before arrival. Unless otherwise agreed, arrival is possible from 16h and scheduled departure no later than noon. In case of mishaps, thank you for telling us. The deposit of 250 euros is to be paid upon arrival in cash (checks not accepted). It will be returned to you either at the check-out or within ten days of your departure by bank transfer. Organization of your welcome and your stay •Arrival The four keys and a remote control are given to you on your arrival and must be returned at your departure (5 euros by missing keys and 25 euros by remote remotes will be deducted from the deposit). The WIFI connection code is communicated upon request upon arrival. •Stay Be sure to respect the infrastructure and furniture. We ask you to close the roof windows in case of rain and during your absences. Bed linen and towels (towels) are to bring. However, if you do not have the opportunity to bring them, please let us know, we can lend them to you. The beds have duvets and pillows, and each mattress has a waterproof protective cover. For reasons of hygiene, we ask you to place a sheet on the mattress, a duvet cover and pillowcases (which you will place above the present pillowcases). For the final cleaning, the 70 euros are to be paid upon arrival. The measures are 140 cm by 190 cm for the mattress sheet of the sofa bed at the bottom and 180 cm by 220 cm for its duvet cover. We ask you to always make sure that the free passage for cars can circulate at all times in the driveway in front of the house. The motorcycle parking is in front of the entrance of the house inside the property. Your car parking is in front of the house along the street. When events permit, sometimes exceptionally on request and in agreement with the owner, your car parking can be found inside the property grounds. We disclaim all liability for any damage caused to vehicles parked in the car park. The TV and Internet connection and consumption are included in the rental if staying a week or less. Consumption of electricity, pellets (heating and hot water) and water are not included for rentals longer than a week. The meters are read at the beginning and end of the stay. The cottage is equipped with night and weekend electric meters at advantageous rates. The thermostat and thermostatic radiator valves allow you to adjust the indoor temperature. Even in case of expenses understood by respect for our environment take care to avoid useless consumptions, in particular during your absences. We encourage you to sort your household waste. Paper and paperboard, glass containers and PMCs (plastic, metal and tetrabic containers) sorted can be stored in the trash space opposite the deposit. Blue bags for PMC and black bags for unsorted waste are provided. There are four garbage cans of 240 liters each. The blue corresponds to the PMC, the yellow to the all coming, the gray one for the papers and the green one for the glass. In case of longer term rentals the bags and the waste disposal are to be paid by the tenant. A pickup schedule is displayed. The outdoor area accessible within the property of the cottage will be presented upon arrival. For your safety, it is forbidden to circulate in the private part outside this zone without our agreement and our presence. Children can ride only accompanied by an adult near the pond and farm machinery on the street. In case of accident, the lodging "L'Archipel" can not be held responsible. In case of problems during your stay, we are reachable •Departure The cottage must be returned in a state of cleanliness equivalent to that of the arrival. In case of payment for the final cleaning, a 'correct' status is however requested. Clean dishes and furniture must be returned to their original places. At the agreed departure time, an inventory is made. We ask you to inform us any breakage, any degradation or any possible failure. We do not charge for the breakage of one or the other glass but insist on the necessary replacements or repairs. The deposit will be returned to the tenant no later than 3 days after the end of the stay. Any major damage, incorrect cleaning or loss of key (noted during the inventory or after departure) will be deducted. Expenses not included (stay longer than a week) are to be paid on the day of departure. The general conditions stated above are integral parts of the rental agreement of the house and can not be changed.
    Guest accommodations at this cottage offer fireplaces and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas.
    Bathrooms include bathtubs or showers and hair dryers. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access.
    This cottage features a terrace, an arcade/game room, and a garden.
    This cottage is a smoke-free property.

      Back to Flanders to see where Grandpa fought in World War I. Random words to meet the requisite 100.

      Delightful gite with two kitchens and a play room. The perfect hosts. Lots of hiking in the countryside. Close to WWI battlefields and Brussels.

        Excellent property in very quiet location with very friendly owners

        Beautifully presented large cottage on a quiet country road. Great for a couple but can take a large family or friends. It is centrally located in Belgium with easy drives to numerous sites of interest. The sat-Nav was essential but made it easy to find and navigate the small roads. The owners, Nicolas and Carine, were wonderful hosts, providing lots of local knowledge and lovely treats to make the stay memorable. If you want a luxurious, quiet and restful break, this is the place! Keith and Glenda from Australia.

          An inviting and clean home with many thoughtful amenities and excellent hosts!

          Our family stayed in this beautiful and modern home after many days of traveling in the cities. We found the country setting and gracious hosts to be exactly what we needed to end our European travels. Nicolas and Carine are very warm and welcoming which shows in the the thoughtfulness of detail taken in arranging their guest home. We especially were thankful for the extra space to relax, games, tourist information, and personal insight. The town of Ellezelles was also wonderful with very friendly people and excellent beer and sausages! Our only complaint is that we did not have more time!

            met gevoel helemaal hernieuwd huisje

            Een heel fijn verblijf met z'n 4'eren - maar een paar dagen maar het gaaf zeker zin in meer! De gastheer en -vrouw zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en, wat niet heel goed te zien is op de foto's, de omgeving is heel plezierig met een uitgebreid wandelroutenetwerk. Ook is er een mooi aangelegde tuin die, in een andere seizoen dan diep december, heel mooi een aangenaam zal zijn. Bravo et merci á Nicolas et Carine!

              Super séjour! A refaire !!

              Le gîte était nickel de chez nickel et il y avait de nombreuses attentions pour nous recevoir (demaquillant avec disque pour les filles, échantillon de parfum, petit mot à l'arrivée...) Ce sont des détails mais c'est tout ce qui fait la différence! Nous avons vraiment bien été reçu. Couple super gentil et agréable. Très flexible ! Rien à redire ! Le gîte est grand et nous avons eu de l'espace ! Les environs sont chouettes pour faire une ballade ou aller manger dans une bonne brasserie. 10/10 !
