"The place is strategically located in an idyllic setting with hiking trails starting at its doorsteps and it's a short bus ride away from the Zugspitze gondola base station at Eibsee. You can already enjoy the Zugspitze view from the balcony without leaving the house. The apartment has ample space, was super well-equipped with anything we could have asked for and very tastefully decorated; spick and span. Most importantly, the hosts were very welcoming and with excellent and concise communication took off all the stress of the long journey we had to take to get there."

"Our stay at Hotel am Badersee was so cozy, comfortable and memorable. We would highly recommend a stay here if you will be in southern Bavaria and we would return here on a future visit to Germany. We spent the day at Zugspitze and this hotel was the perfect location to stay after that. We originally planned to spend 1 night only, but liked the hotel and location so much that we spent 2 nights and took the opportunity to take the bus (with the complementary bus passes provided by the hotel) to visit some of the smaller neighboring towns and villages in the area (Garmisch was beautiful). A highlight of the stay was the delicious food that was served at the dinner and breakfast buffets. There was a large variety of things to pick from and it was in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake, but most important of all, the food was absolutely delicious. We loved the variety after eating most of the traditional German foods for several days in Munich. We were also pleasantly surprised by the lower $10/night parking fee as compared to parking fees in Munich. We had a wonderful time - Thank You! "

"Fantastic location and wonderful property. Hot tub required wood for heating and took time to reach required temperatures. Sauna was outstanding and property well maintained. Security lights stayed on too late at night and landscape lights came on too late to enjoy the outside in the evening. Kristen was very responsive and Michael was very helpful with the walk around to help us feel comfortable. All in all a wonderful experience."
