"My family (me, my wife, and two children aged 17 and 14) stayed at this charming seaside house between Christmas and New Year's and had a wonderful time. We have always loved visiting Bailey's Island but have never stayed over night. The island is a perfect getaway during the Holidays for some r&r with your loved ones. The house had all of the modern comforts while providing our family ample room during our stay. The host was gracious and a very good communicator. We hope to stay at this property next year!"

"We were sold on the Dog Friendliness of this property but we will be coming back for the views. This is literally a slice of heaven. We stayed with our two labs and our 3 year old son and everyone had a blast. The house is beautifully renovated to fit the modern lifestyle with the quaint beach house theme. The dogs were able to run free on the beach front and roll in the tall grass. The lack of television was the best pet of the trip. Games, books, music and conversation fill the space and allow you spend time with the ones you love. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking to visit Maine."

"We spent four nights at Sunrise Cottage. A tropical storm came through and knocked out power for 18 hours. The owner brought us a rechargeable lantern that night as there weren’t many supplies in the cottage. The day after the storm was a lovely day and we took advantage of the deck and watched the high surf crashing on the rocks. The owner made sure we were all set, the power had thankfully come back on. We were able to see the cottage in fog, storm, and sun and it was great in all 3. We were very comfortable there, and our dog liked walking the roads around the cottage and down to Lands End. We hope to be back someday."
