    Great location and amenities

We stayed four nights at the Bucking Mule in July 2019. This was a perfect base for us to see all the area has to offer. There was so much we didn't get to see and wish we had stayed a week! The place was comfortable and clean. We used the washer and dryer and patio extensively. My only "complaints" were that the sink was too high and I wish there was a small cooler available for us to take on our day trips. We went to Mesa Verde N.P., on the Narrow Gauge Railway, and took in the amazing Animas River Trail by bike. The organic market right around the corner is amazing! If you want to use the Japanese soaking tub, I recommend making sure you can get in an out when there is no water in it! The premium beauty aids were a nice touch. We highly recommend this studio.

    Great place

Highly recommend. Great location and amenities. Everything you need in a studio. Hope to stay here again next time we’re in Durango.

    4/5 Good

    Great little place, fantastic location!

Great little place, fantastic location! Nice and clean, with lots of modern amenities/conveniences as well. A couple of places w/ fence where small dogs could get out, but otherwise very dog-friendly. If you're traveling w/ a kiddo, the sinks are a bit high for teeth-brushing/face-washing, but we were able to use stools. And our kiddo thought the place was "the coolest". Would definitely stay here again.

    Comfortable for 2 adults & a dog

This was a good location to be able to walk to down town, coffee shop, grocery store. Nice patio to have a bbq. There is no stove, so bbq or microwave is only way to cook. Fridge looks small, but holds a good amount of food. Tub was very awkward to get out of, but this didn’t stop me from using it every night. Bed is a queen, we are used to a king, so bed felt small to us, but the mattress is very comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay!

    Great studio

My partner and I recently spent four nights at Bucking Mule. The studio has everything one needs for a good stay. Centrally located. We walked to the College Cafe for breakfast a couple of times. Good food and friendly waitstaff. Walking trails were close by. We would stay there again
