The service at Hyatt Place was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included free for World of Hyatt members, but it was not particularly guarded, so it looks like pretty much any guest can help themselves. There is a nice, if tiny, bar downstairs. The beds are comfortable, and the 2-queen room was sizable and comfortable for 3 adults.
There were a few issues with the stay, however. 1) The first full day of our stay (Friday), the room was never serviced, and we never received fresh towels or glassware that day. 2) Silverware was frequently unreplenished at breakfast; 2 days out of our 4-day stay, there were no forks at all for the entirety of breakfast, and 1 day there were no spoons. 3) The bathroom was in rough shape and not particularly clean. The tile grout had black mildew spots and the tiles were chipped in several places in the shower/tub area. For a relatively new hotel, this should not be the case.
Finally, Hotels.com has an inaccurate photo of the pool area for this hotel!! The pool is a small, kidney-shaped pool outdoors. It is not square and does not feature a separate hot tub as shown in one of the photos on Hotels.com. This was a big disappointment for us, but that is Hotels.com's fault.
I would certainly stay here again, all things considered.
