Their website prominently displays a photo of their pool which is why I booked this hotel. After hours on the road, I was looking forward to swimming some laps; however, when I arrived I was told the pool was out of order. I asked if I could get a discount since the pool was the reason I picked the hotel. The man at the desk had to phone his manager. The manager's response? I could call Expedia and cancel my reservation. So rather than just take a small percentage off my bill because you don't have the amenity that you prominently display on your website you'd rather risk losing my business altogether by advising me to cancel my hotel reservation? I stayed because it was late, and I didn't want to run around hoping to find a room somewhere else in my budget. (That might explain the manager's response, knowing he had me over a barrel, which is a terrible way to treat a customer).
The room had clearly not been thoroughly gone over by housekeeping. There were no tissues in the box provided, and one of the beds had crumbs on the sheets (luckily the other bed seemed okay). Doors closed really loudly, so I heard people coming and going all night. Breakfast was a joke unless you like sugary cereal and the whitest of bread. I didn't even bother with it. When I went to check out, they weren't ready, and I had to wait for their computer to boot up in order to get a receipt. Driveway and parking lot are full of potholes.
Super 8? More like Dreadful 8.
