The resort was nice and helpful. The only issue I had with anything was the bathroom door was had to pull shut and would not stay shut.

This property has some great perks and some downfalls. Perks: 1. You have access to the same amenities as the Resort’s other property, The Beach Club, for a cheaper price. 2. Free shuttle was great! 3. The property is amazing, the views are incredible. 4. Friendly staff in property restaurant/bar. Downfalls: 1. You get what you pay for. Cheaper price means you lose attention to detail and overall service. Our room was nice and generally clean but you could tell the upkeep was minimal. Also after walking into the Beach Club you can visually see why you’re paying more at The Beach Club. 2. There is no room service despite advertised. 3. LOUD Resort. Between guests running and talking in the hallway (which I realize the Resort can’t control) and housekeeping vacuuming at 8pm (totally controllable), my husband and I were woken up every morning. It was quite irritating, especially if you’re vacationing to relax! 4. Mediocre service. An old woman at the from desk was unable to help me purchase tickets to Boone Hall (which they advertised in the hotel elevator). Not having all the answers is understandable but it was clear she was not interested in looking to help us. Also, upon checking out I was not asked how my stay was, which is when I planned to explain some of the issues stated here. Overall, for the price, it is a good hotel. If we were to come back we’d probably bite the bullet and spend a little more and stay at The Beach Club.
