About this property

Beaver Lodge Log Cabin - Killington - Perfect All Seasons - Timeless Experience

Family-friendly cabin in Bridgewater Corners
Location: Killington, Vermont, USA (Boston 3hrs / NYC 4hrs - Woodstock 12mi / Rutland 18mi) View Map Accommodations: Log Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Loft, Game Room, Comfortably Sleeps 12 Our home is nestled between Birch Mountain and the winding Ottaquechee River. It offers a perfect balance between nature and modern convenience. Only a short walk to a number of natural beaver lodges, and located in an area known for moose sightings, our home welcomes you with an authentic brush of nature Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Do not let the rich natural surroundings and native wildlife deceive you; there is much to do and see in the surrounding areas: we are located only 3 minutes from Killington's Skyship Gondola, 8 minutes from Pico, 15 minutes from Woodstock, and 20 minutes from Rutland or Okemo. Your possibilities are limitless: be it skiing, hiking, watching a movie, attending a concert, golfing, dining out, Beaver Lodge offers you a location with prime access to entertainment and recreation. A bit of a homebody? No problem. There is still plenty to do: fish the many rivers and lakes in the vicinity (we angled a 20 lb. trout in front of the house), hike the hundreds of wooded acres behind the property, enjoy a bonfire, relax with a few lawn or board games located in our game chest, or simply chill, grill, and breath in the stress-free air on the covered porch. In our basement entertainment center, watch DVD or play video games on the 50 inch big screen TVs, play pool, foosball, shuffleboard, darts or cards. The home has more than 2,000 square feet of living space on the first two floors and another 1,000 square feet in the entertainment center. The interior design offers an open, spacious, yet intimate, homey feel. Our modern kitchen flows into a warm dining space, and drifts into the spacious great room, perfect for conversation and relaxation. The pine-log construction, hardwood floors and dimmed lighting create an inviting, rustic ambiance reminiscent of the logger’s cabins that rested on the plot in the past. When the day darkens and cools, take advantage of our wood burning fireplace. Bask in the natural warmth and aromas of fresh pine, and let yourself plunge into the gentle, alluring simplicity of a well-stoked fire. Enjoy our cozy accommodation: four leather recliners, an authentic birch rocker two six-foot pillow chairs and a double pillow sleeper. Listen to the stereo, or enjoy Fiber TV on our 50 inch flat panel. Take advantage of our music and video libraries to create your own perfect atmosphere. If you are looking for privacy, retire to the loft, the second story bedroom or the private second-story chalet balcony. Chat in the Adirondack chairs, read in an oaken rocker, unwind in the massaging jets of the second-story tub or just melt into the soft queen-sized bed. If you really can’t get away from it all, no worries. Our fiber wireless internet keeps you connected and Verizon Wireless receives four bars on our site. Our home is friendly and functional. We located the mudroom away from all the activity, tucked into the walk out basement along with the washer, dryer and a wall mounted ironing board. We placed the clothes draws under beds and put closets in each bedroom so that nothing interferes with your enjoyment, and comfort on the two main floors. We hope you stay with us. You will find the atmosphere intoxicating, you won’t want to leave, so please visit again. Vermont vacation house

This property was wonderful; it was spacious but cozy, clean, comfortable and all around fantastic. We can’t wait to return to Vermont and would love to stay here again! Thanks for the beautiful accommodations during our vacation!

      Relaxing vacation

We had a great time at the beaver lodge. The log cabin is welcoming, cozy and very well equipped. There was nothing we missed during our stay. Thank you for letting us spend our vacation in your cabin.

        Winter Wonderland

This was the best rental property I have ever stayed at! I stayed in the winter but would like to come back and try it out in the summer as well.

Large Cabin with everything you need, minutes from killingtons skyship gondola

This place is absolutely fantastic! If you are even considering this place, just go ahead and book it. The cabin is big.....we slept 10 adults here with zero issues at all. The entire place is clean from top to bottom, from bedrooms, to bathrooms cleanliness is a 10 out of 10. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare a meal, the keurig on the counter stocked with k cups was a nice touch too. The basement was great, with the pool table, foosball, dart board and shuffle board table, we never ran out of things to do. This place is less than 5 minutes from Killingtons skyship gondola, which is great because that parking lot does not normally get too packed, so its perfect for getting from your car, to up on the lifts. Also on the way to skyship is a great breakfast spot called drewskis, check it out. I will definitely be returning here next year!

Our visit was spectacular! A family of 10. The crib and high chair was an added bonus for our 8 month old grandson . We enjoyed the New Year’s Eve snowfall arriving soon after we all arrived safely flying in from Florida and Tennessee and driving from Boston. The cleanest place we have ever stayed No details were overlooked. We might have to visit again in the summer Thanks for having us
