"This is a very charming and well-run hotel in a historic 500-year-old building. The staff is excellent, as is the included breakfast. The only caution is that it is on the island of Murano, which is separate from Central Venice. To get there, you have to take a boat, which is actually kind of fun. Also, to get to the airport, you have to drag your luggage about half a mile to a different wharf. But it’s all great and its own way. Highly recommended!"

"The Hotel is just a stones throw from the Airport, takes only 20 minutes to walk. Arrived at the hotel around 9pm and was checked in by a very kind gentleman who also swapped out my TV which was having a few technical issues. Tickets for the No5 bus into Venice the next day were from the helpful lady in the small shop just up the road - another 20 minutes later and you're in Plaza Roma. After my 2 night stay I had an early morning flight so after making breakfast in the hotel I left to walk to the Airport at 4.30am. I was then sat in departures at Marco Polo Airport i.e. through security and passport control by 5.10am!!!! The hotel is just so convenient. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great whirlwind break. "
