"Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay here on the way up north to a family wedding. We had a fabulous time walking the beach and swimming in the lake. The cottage is situated in a very quiet and relaxing setting, and it felt like we had our own private beach space to play and enjoy. Owners were kind and helpful. Spectacular sunsets and views!!!"

"We had so much fun in Onekama (and surrounding cities/towns). The property was perfect: comfortable inside space to sleep and relax, and a great outside space; firepit, chairs, and a swing. Also you get the best of both worlds with some shade and some sun. We brought our own kayaks, and there was a place on site to put them when we were done so we didn't have to trailer them each day. - check out the M22 Grill for diner type cooking with friendly staff. We already have tentative reservations for next year. Jim and Lillian were great to work with, they were very nice and the snacks they left us were a nice touch."

"Clean, comfortable and convenient to both Lake Michigan and Portage Lake Owner is very responsive with questions and information. The kitchen has everything you need to cook dinner, large dining room for family meals, family room has TV with Netflix, large screened in porch for relaxing. Walking distance to a very nice beach. Overall excellent!!"

"This property exceeded the expectations of me and all my guests. 2 of 3 canceled plans so they could extend their stay and the 3rd tried to rearrange commitments. Thee layout and cleanliness of the home, as well as the view, were raved about by all and my 7 year old grandson caught a fish right off the dock. Memories to last a lifetime Thanks Mike"

"Upon arrival if it hadn’t been for my husband being able to pick a lock we would still not be in the house! The lock box code we were give did not work! I attempted many times to call, email and text the property owner and they still have not responded to my requests. They are sending me automated robo texts and emails to rate my stay! The inside of the house was clean but the outside of the house was not! We had a great time when away from the property!"
