Pleasant stay in West Cape May
House comfortably holds 8 people. The central AC keeps everything cool and dry. Really nice yard and plenty of parking for 3 to 4 cars. The back porch is a nice sitting area but the front screened porch was everyone's favorite. Plenty of room and a decent kitchen but a little light on pots and pans. The house does sit on Sunset Blvd and it is a very busy road during the day. It is not busy at all at night so sleeping is not an issue. Mattresses could use updating. There is a beach you can walk to by going across the street and through the nature preserve (which is beautiful) but you are NOT allowed to sunbathe or swim at this beach. You must go to the Cape May main beach by Beach Ave or the Cape May Point beaches if you wish to go in the water and sunbathe. We went to the Point because there is free street parking. If you were to walk to a swimmable beach it's about 30 minutes. We drove as it's a bit much to carry beach chairs and coolers over a mile. We walked to the Washington Street Mall in Cape may but eventually we would drive down 2nd ave and park just before Broadway which took about a mile out of the walk. Overall a nice property and very responsive owner., We had a great time!
