      Enjoyable home in great spot

In Cape May for the birding festival, this home provided the perfect spot for home base. It’s our second time here and we’ll be coming back.

        So helpful!

We had a great stay during the fall season - the property was perfect and the owner so helpful and communicative. Hope to come again!

          Perfectly charming cottage

Calling this cottage quaint, sums it up. It's Victorian charm with an updated, functional main floor layout including a washer/dryer and half bath right near the back door and an easy to use kitchen. The couches are cozy and clean. The dining room table is perfect for cards and games which we did each night. (Couldn't speak to the TV since we didn't turn it on once.) Flowers greet you at the outdoor shower, bunnies munch on the lawn, and the figs were ripe during our visit! When we swam in the ocean near St. Peter's, stems of teacup roses floated near us, thrown from a wedding earlier. The shore is teaming with wildlife at the Point, dolphins dip and glide, dragon flies dodge butterflies and ghost crabs scurry out and duck back into their holes never nearing a person. We recommend sunsets anywhere along the point (not just at Sunset Beach.) If you don't have a dinner reservation on a Saturday night, try The Ugly Mug where food is fast and good with cheerful waitstaff. The Lucky Bone has wonderful vegetarian and fish take out choices. Still anytime before 3pm the Mad Batter can't be beat. We wouldn't recommend Cold Spring Brewery off the weekend though as it's costly and the ones we had on tap were nearly undrinkable. (Made the best of it with backyard games.) We love Cape May but staying at the Point in this charming home makes it all the more relaxing and magical. I even dislike mentioning that it has steep stairs to the bedrooms but the large bathroom with 2 sinks makes up for it. The home is really worth considering. Right next door is an ultra contemporary home most likely at twice or three times the price and only a fraction of the charm. Wish we could have stayed longer!

            Wonderful Sept get away

The cottage was perfectly situated close to the beach and walking trails to look at birds and habitat. Had a wonderful stay

              Lovely Cottage

We had a wonderful week at the Cambridge Cottage! The house was comfortable and beautifully maintained. The overall house is a great size for a family of 4- we had enough space to enjoy our week. The outside shower was fantastic, and there was plenty of room for our bikes, chairs and boogie boards (we brought our own). The host communicated with us before, during and after our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. She even provided a list of favorite 'hidden gems' for us to explore on the Cape. I would definitely recommend this place to other families... the house is fantastic and so is the host!
