Krystal Cancun

There was only one problem but it was a major one: the close proximity to Coco Bongo who played loud music outside until 4 am. The music, if you want to call it that, had lots of drums and bass which easily penetrated the glass doors, the curtains, and my headphones which were playing real music. The would also broadcast their noise during the day which was extremely inconsiderate. Other than that, the prices were very good and the location was excellent. Most of the lights on the elevators did not work, but the elevator would always show up when the buttons were pressed. 2 ice machines for 8 floors was pushing it but it was better than nothing. Just a longer walk. It was remarkably free of insects, I didn’t see a single one in 9 days and nights. Breakfast buffets were good. Room service prices were outstanding and service was reasonable. Maintenance staff were extremely responsive and efficient. No charge for beach umbrellas was great. The hot tub water was same temperature as the pool. The pool had several missing tiles. The pool bar was great.

The elevators were a real problem.

The beach is wonderful, the food is very average, there was option for a mexican restaurant only with reservations, that was FANTASTIC, drinks were ok, room cleanning ok, there were a group of teenagers screaming outside of our room, from 1.30am to 3.30am I kept calling the hotel, the front desk, every single button in the phone and nobody answered
