      Many short comings

Let's start with the "10 minutes" to Camden. Unless there is a short cut we didn't find with our map programs, it is at least 15 minutes. The property itself does have a great view. It is isolated and does not have any blinds or curtains on most of the windows. Sort of nice, except no blockage of the sun, and the house became very hot. Which leads us to the list of issue. The big ceiling fan in the central area was set to winter mode and the remote did not work to change it so did not do much good. Could only turn it on/off. The bedrooms did have electric fans which helped, still very hot and humid. Other issues- not very clean, no usable closets, filthy grill (large chunks of food stuck on it, didn't look like it had been cleaned in some while), Some minor additional issues were no pot holders in the kitchen and no hand soap dispenser in the smaller of the two bathrooms upstairs. One other larger issue is the stairway from the drive to the access to the house appeared to have been washed out (it was landscape timbers in rectangles with rocks as filler). It also had no hand rail. Ended up walking up the grassy slope. OK, but was fairly difficult for the family member wearing a knee brace. Bottom line, is we would not rent again.

Very nice stay. The place was clean, and quiet at night. Great views of the stars. Blueberries were in bloom! Website should show images of each room and layout to assist in trip planning.
