Stay away from this hotel
I do not recommend this hotel for anybody, I had a very unpleasant stay at the hotel. I travel a lot, over 100 days per year and have stayed in various hotel all around the world without similar troubles. I stayed at Sheraton Buenos Aires for three nights, on the day that I was leaving I went to explore the city for a couple of hours before my flight and left my personal belongings including wallet (inside closed briefcase) in the room. When I came back the cleaner was in my room with the TV on and I was not sure what he had been doing, because it was for sure that no cleaning had been done. After he left I checked my personal belongings and noticed that from my wallet was missing 50 € and a credit card. I reported this to the hotel and told them that most likely it was the cleaner as I was only gone for a couple of hours and no cleaning had been done during that time and he was in the room when I entered. The hotel promised that they will start an internal investigation and find out who took the money and let me know once the investigation is ready. I pointed out that they should act quickly as very likely it was the cleaner and if he gets to go home he will take the money with him and after that it will be impossible to prove that it was him who took the money. After 4 days I have not heard anything back from the hotel. P.S: I explained the situation to the receptionist when I was checking out and she asked: “Are you missing money or a watch?", so apparently this is common
