Some good stuff, some not-so-good
The hotel is very convenient for Clifton and has secure, good-value parking nearby. It was OK for a short business trip with a good pub downstairs, a great coffee shop attached and friendly staff. It's clearly a well run hotel with only a couple of negatives for me. The rooms were pretty hot, the kitchen downstairs generates a cooking smell on the ground floor (where I stayed) and breakfast (taken in the bar area) has the undeniable whiff of last nights drinkers and the loo which is a shame because the food is great. I asked for a late check out in the courtesy call and again at check in and wasn't told that it came with a £5 charge. All that said it's still good value.
