The home was very clean and incredibly modern and well-appointed. With three bedrooms and two baths there was plenty of room for our family of three and two dogs. So nice to have all the modern amenities from pans and gadgets for cooking just about anything you could think of, to central air conditioning (this was amazing during muggy days!), washer and dryer, dishwasher and TV with Netflix and Hulu. The outdoor setup was great with string lights and campfire to enjoy by the water, as well as two hammocks and plenty of Adirondack chairs. The only bummer was that the water is rather stagnant and not a sandy entry for swimming. There is an association beach which is just a couple minute walk away, however, the entry there is completely rocky so you need to wear water shoes until you’re waist level, and then you get the sandy bottom. It is a beautiful beach though, with beach chairs and toys there to use so you don’t need to lug your own! If you have a boat or plan on renting (or wish to use the kayaks on site) this is truly the perfect spot as you can take a very quick boat ride out to the sand bar or state park beach. However, we didn’t have a boat and renting one is extemely pricey. With a one year old, kayaking wasn’t an option for us unless we took turns. So, if you don’t plan on having a boat and have little ones looking to just be able to swim and float from the property this may not be the spot for you. However, if you have a boat, plan on renting, or are adults who can kayak out, it couldn’t be better. Location in general is perfect and very close to downtown Naples, and a short drive to Bridgton or Raymond. Very private but still close to everything and the action on the sandbar. Overall, a wonderful spot and Cherie was a great host and very responsive! Would definitely recommend!
