I stayed there on two separate occasions while in Boise on business in November 2019. Overall the hotel was nice, not perfect but nice. The room was decent-sized. Décor, furnishing, and ambiance in the room was up to date (although I’m not sure about the flame red curtains). The corridor was a bit dated. The bathroom was pretty nice, two sinks. The lobby was very spacious and relaxing. Unfortunately they offer only free coffee in the morning; no free breakfast. The exercise room was decent sized, but the equipment was old and the bicycle didn’t even work. Lastly, a small but telling indicator of a hotel's overall quality... a plastic or glass drinking cup in the room. You’d think if you were paying about $100 per night you’d at least get a real glass drinking cup. Sadly, Red Lion gives you ... the cheap plastic version, which is a little surprisingly given that the hotel has banquet and restaurant facilities. All in all, would I stay there again?: Probably, especially if they could update the exercise room, offer free breakfast, and put glass drinking cups in the room.

I liked the location of my room near both Resturant and Bar but was an older part of the Hotel would have had to fill tub by running shower

This property has significantly gone down hill over the last few years. Our friends room didn’t have a cover on the fire alarm, there’s a giant hole where the sprinkler is, the mirrors were all crooked. The rooms were horrible in general. If there’s going to be wheels on the bed that have hard wood flooring, maybe put stoppers on them as well. I will not stay there again. Very disappointed
